Linda
Potts, a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, is a Toronto-based
artist whose artistic versatility allows her to create bold
and dramatically colourful floral and fruit images. Whether
it is the image of recently picked apples on a bright fall
afternoon, a colourful array of fresh lilacs bringing to mind
a country spring morning or a simple bowl of cherries sitting
on a folded tea towl, her contemporary style creates a tranquil
focal point for any room.
Linda’s versatile artistic expressions can be placed
in a wide variety of settings from country to urban, from
traditional to contemporary, from shabby chic to cozy country.
Linda’s work celebrates the various seasons through
colour, light patterns and setting. All of her paintings have
a strong sense of atmosphere.
